Provably fair

Every result on Kibo can be checked. The house commits to each round before you bet, and you can replay any of them afterwards. It's the same scheme Stake and most crypto casinos use.

  1. The house commits. Before you bet, you see the SHA-256 hash of a secret server seed (64 random characters). The hash locks it in: it can't be swapped later without the hash changing.
  2. You add your own seed. Your client seed is yours: set it to anything under Fair play, below any game, so the house can't plan around it.
  3. Each round has a number. The nonce counts your rounds on this pair of seeds: 0, 1, 2...
  4. The result is computed, not picked. The round's random numbers are the bytes of HMAC-SHA256(server seed, "client seed:nonce:0"), then :1, :2... Each number takes the next 7 bytes (53 bits, between 0 and 1), and the game's own code turns them into cards, mines or a multiplier: the same code that pays you.
  5. Then you check. Press New seeds under Fair play to reveal the old server seed. Its SHA-256 must match the hash you saw, and the tool below recomputes any round's numbers from it.

The live tables

Crash, live roulette and Win Go are shared, so they don't use your seeds. Each round gets its own house seed: its hash is shown before betting opens, the result is drawn from it when betting closes, and the seed is revealed when the round ends, so anyone can check it with the tool below.

Check it yourself

This runs entirely in your browser: nothing you type is sent anywhere.

Fair means nobody can change a result. It doesn't mean you can win: the house edge is built into every payout, and it's shown on every game. Play responsibly.
